Water is an increasingly scarce resource - and one that is becoming more expensive. Using non-intrusive ultrasonic flow meters Energy NZ can record individual pipe flows rates and produce a water balance diagram. This diagram will highlight where water is used on site, where misuse is occurring and where process water is being lost. Energy NZ can also develop solutions and strategies for water use reduction, reuse and recycling.

In addition Energy NZ can investigate the efficiency of water pumping systems to ensure pumps are well suited to their given task, are operating efficiently and are pumping only the water necessary for the process. These measures are undertaken with the use of ultrasonic flow meters, 3-phase power analysers and supplier pump curve data sheets.
